More about Mackenzie

In my free time, I like to write, exercise, and laugh really hard with friends. Between classes, I work on campus at the English Language Center. I like summer better than winter and waffles better than pancakes. I love early mornings with a book, listening to the birds.

Future plans or career aspirations:

I’m hoping to be a pediatric physical therapist and to see more of the world.

How has your major contributed to your professional or personal development?

I have wanted to be a physical therapist since fourth grade, so having that dream motivates me to work hard as a human physiology major. Understanding human biology makes me feel like I better understand the world around me and am empowered to serve others.

What has been your proudest or most significant accomplishment during your Gonzaga career?

Honestly, I’m probably proudest every time I pass an organic chemistry exam.
