Transfer Student Lunch Series

With Academic Advisor, Scott Anderson, M.Ed.

I want to welcome you to your first semester at Gonzaga! My name is Scott and I am an academic advisor who specifically works with transfer students at Gonzaga. I will be hosting a series of six lunches during the start of fall semester for all incoming transfer students. The idea behind these lunches is to help you get to know your fellow transfer students at Gonzaga as well as connect you with different resources that can be helpful for new students at Gonzaga. The lunches will be a casual event, and it gives us an opportunity to provide you with some free food! The lunches will be in the Transfer Lounge, which is in the Hemmingson Center on the third floor. Here are the dates:

  • 9/08: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm focused on Academic Advising
  • 9/15: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm focused on Academic Supports
  • 9/22: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm focused on Holistic Supports
  • 9/29: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm focused on Diversity and Inclusion
  • 10/06: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm focused on Community Building
  • 10/13: 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm focused on Community Building

I will be holding office hours in the space from 11:00 am until the lunches start (12:30pm). Feel free to stop by and say hi or come with questions during this time even if you cannot make it to the lunch. Please fill out this form if you would like to attend:

I look forward to working with you during your time at Gonzaga. Please let me know if you have any questions.
