We know it’s frustrating to send off an email and left to wonder if the message was ever received. That’s why our staff makes every effort to respond to all questions quickly, generally within one business day. The best way to get a hold of us is at our general email address – firstname.lastname@example.org or via phone at 509.313.6582. Financial aid staff and counselors are also available for walk-in visits most business days from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. We take a team approach and answer emails, calls, and walk-ins in the order received.
Certain times of the year are very busy for our office and may delay our response time, but trust that we’re working to resolve your issue. To provide peace of mind, we will always email you to confirm we have received your documents. Feel free to follow up with our office if you haven’t received a response after a couple of business days. Repeated methods of communication including incessant calling, multiple voicemail, or emails tend to confuse our system and delay response times for everyone.
It is always our goal to make financial aid as easy and seamless as possible. That being said, sometimes financial aid issues can often become protracted as we assess, collate, and reconcile data received. More complex matters such as appeals are rarely a one-and-done processes, but rather often require continued conversation between our office and your family as we gather additional documentation and forms that are required.
