Workland-Gose Scholarship

This scholarship was established by James Workland, ’64 and Phelps Gose, ’62 to support law students with financial need. Jim graduate from Gonzaga with an accounting degree, finished law school in 1964, then received his LLM from Boston University. Jim also served as an adjunct professor in taxation at the law school. In 1997, Jim received the Distinguished Alumni Merit Award for his outstanding dedication to Gonzaga. Phelps graduated from law school in 1962 and went on to become a successful attorney and real estate owner. Over the course of many years, Phelps owned or invested in several Washington State hotels and motels.
