Be Prepared For Orientation

One of the first things you do at the undergraduate new & transfer student orientation is pick up your ZAGCARD.

Keys to success for Orientation Day

Submit an approved photo and government ID by the photo deadline

It is very important to submit an approved photo by the photo deadline so your card is ready for you on Orientation Day.  Save yourself time and submit an approved photo as early as possible.

New this year:  We are now requiring all students to also upload a government ID when they upload their photo.

Photo deadlines per term and upload instructions can be found on the Submit your Photo page.  We also encourage everyone to review the Be Ready With Your Valid Government ID page to understand what we are looking for when we verify your identity.

If I  show up early, can I pick my card up before Orientation?

Fall Term

All undergraduate new and transfer student ZAGCARDs are handed out at orientation for all students except those who are on the pre-approved pre-orientation list with Housing.  If you are not on that list, then you will have to wait to pick up your card. If you cannot pick up your card during orientation, your ZAGCARD will be available for pickup at Campus Card Services afterwards.

Pre-approved pre-orientation ZAGCARD pick up will close at 12pm the day before orientation.  Special arrangements for a temporary card will need to be made with Housing after 12pm if you need to move into your residence hall and the ZAGCARD will be available at orientation the following day.

Spring Term

All undergraduate new and transfer student ZAGCARDs are handed out at orientation for all students.  If you cannot pick up your card during orientation, your ZAGCARD will be available for pickup at Campus Card Services afterwards.

Law School Students and Grad Students

Your ZAGCARDs will be mailed approximately two weeks before the start of the term.  Be sure to have your current mailing address up-to-date with the university.
