Statement on Peaceful, Lawful Activism by Applicants, Students, Faculty and Staff

Gonzaga student activists take stance against hate during the Day for Justice in 2010.

Gonzaga University has a long tradition of supporting and celebrating activism on the part of its students, faculty and staff. As such, we commend all individuals who choose to express their concerns regarding issues of social justice and matters of conscience in the context of peaceful, lawful activism. Gonzaga University will not penalize applicants nor admitted students whose peaceful and lawful activism are the direct cause of disciplinary action by their high school.
