Mental Health and Well Being Resources

January 14, 2022

Dear Gonzaga Community:

I hope this finds you healthy and well.

We consistently hear from students that Gonzaga faculty and staff members play essential and significant roles in supporting their holistic well-being. As we embark on another challenging semester, students continue to ask for support in managing their mental health and wellbeing.

If you are feeling less-than-an-expert in challenges related to COVID-19, health inequity, and well-being, please know that you are not alone! We want to remind you of our Wellbeing Resources, and specifically our Faculty and Staff webpage.

These resources are designed to help promote wellbeing in your encounters with students, as well as assist them through inevitable periods of stress. The webpage also provides information about who to contact for support and assistance when more concerning situations arise. Please reach out if you have ideas for additional resources that would aid in accompanying our students.

Your personal attention to fostering student wellbeing matters. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to continuing our work with you, as well as onboarding a new Dean of Student Wellbeing by Summer 2022. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of our colleagues in the following areas.
