Why are you in admissions at Gonzaga?
I grew up in Spokane and truly never thought I would end up here. From day one of First-Year Orientation, this place and the people here have truly become home. The Zag community is unlike any community I’ve ever seen. Gonzaga has taught me so much, given me amazing opportunities and amazing mentors and friends that I know I will keep in touch with for the rest of my life. Gonzaga has stretched me and made me a better version of myself. We truly live our mission here and I want to help other Zags find their home here too.
Where is your favorite place on campus?
The Hearth Lounge in Hemmingson! Not only does the fire keep you warm in the cold winter months, but you have the perfect view in the heart of campus. You’re sure to always see at least five of your friends walk in at any time. Hemmingson is so full of energy and it’s a fun place to spend time.
What is your favorite thing to do in Spokane?
Spokane is such a great city to get outside and enjoy the beautiful Pacific Northwest. There are so many trails, lakes, hikes and other fun things to do outside! I love to go out and take a walk down the Centennial Trail through campus or head to Lake Coeur d’ Alene!
What is one piece of advice you have for prospective students?
