"My education at Gonzaga has had a massive impact on who I am today and on what I believe that I can achieve."

I am currently finishing my Master’s of Counseling degree at Santa Clara University with a practicum at the Bill Wilson Center. I have accepted a job at The Pratt Center where I will work with children and families seeking psychoeducational testing across the Bay Area. I am also in the process of applying to doctorate programs, as I would like to pursue my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.

My education at Gonzaga has had a massive impact on who I am today and on what I believe that I can achieve. All of my psychology professors at GU made sure that they not only knew me as a student, but also as a person. They invested in me as an individual, and they provided amazing opportunities: I was a research assistant in Dr. Bartlett’s laboratory and a teaching assistant in Dr. Thorne’s statistics courses. The professionalism, knowledge, skills and confidence that Gonzaga gave me have opened so many doors and I would absolutely not be where I am today without the dedication and support of my GU professors.
