New Academic Calendar for Spring 2021

In light of continued challenges related to COVID-19, and at the recommendation of the Academic Council, comprised of faculty, students, and staff, I am pleased to approve the following revisions to the Spring 2021 calendar. Thanks to those who have helped in making the calendar modifications.

The modified calendar:

  • Removes Spring Break from Spring 2021 calendar.
  • Pushes the start of the semester back by 1 week to January 19th.
  • Adds a single Reading Day in-between President’s day and Good Friday. This was chosen to be Friday, March 12, 2021. No classes will be held.
  • Changes the Spring Faculty Conference to Thursday, January 14th.

An announcement will be forthcoming later this month regarding the dates for on-campus housing move-in.
