Ignatian Leadership

Overview

The Ignatian Leadership Living Learning community fosters the development of individuals who will be leaders for the common good, with the belief that the skills and knowledge of leadership can be learned best in community.  The Ignatian Leadership LLC strives for cura personalis in transformational learning focused on self-awareness, relationships with others, and leadership for the common good.  All Ignatian Leadership residents will be enrolled in LDRS 315 (Theories of Leadership and Organizations) in the fall semester.

Location:  Kennedy Apartments

Open To: Second-year students who are in the Comprehensive Leadership Program (CLP)

Values and Learning Outcomes

Ignatian Leadership LLC residents will:

  • Gain knowledge and understanding of leadership theory and practice, particularly framed through an Ignatian lens.
  • Develop an understanding of change processes and practice influence for positive social change in their community.
  • Understand how your power and privilege impacts the spaces you lead in and work towards solidarity, justice and equity.
  • Develop deeper relationships with you peers and understand how you can support and challenge each other during your time living together and in the future.
