Non‑degree‑seeking students are approved to take courses at Gonzaga University without being formally admitted to a degree or certificate program. Students may enroll to:
Eligibility Notice
High school and Running Start students are not eligible for non‑degree enrollment and must apply through Dual Enrollment with Undergraduate Admissions.
Master’s level courses: non-degree students must have earned a Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Doctoral level courses: non-degree students must have earned a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
Important: Financial Aid is not available for non-degree status students.

Undergraduate Non-Degree Process
Students wishing to take graduate or doctoral coursework as non‑degree students must submit:
Unofficial transcripts where you earned your Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree(s).
If applying to take courses in the Transmission & Distribution programs, a resume will also be required.
All applications for graduate coursework—degree‑seeking or non‑degree—are reviewed by faculty in the respective academic program, consistent with Gonzaga’s graduate admissions policy. Faculty assess academic preparation and determine eligibility for enrollment.

Students must submit a new Activation Request for each semester they wish to enroll.
1. Online Registration (Preferred)
To be activated for an upcoming semester, complete the Activation Form.
This process is for undergraduate non‑degree students only
Graduate non‑degree students must apply through Graduate Admissions
After submitting the Activation Form:
You will receive a confirmation email from the Registrar’s Office prior to the start of registration
The email will include your student ID number and instructions for registering online through ZagWeb
2. In‑Person (Walk‑In) Registration
Students may also register in person by visiting the Registrar’s Office:

Payment arrangements are due at the time of registration.
Students should contact the Student Accounts Office on the day they register for guidance on payment options
If payment is not made the same day, a billing notification will be sent via email
Bills can be viewed by logging into ZagWeb and accessing CASHNet
