Gonzaga University contracts with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to verify enrollment for deferment of FFELP loans (Stafford, SLS, PLUS, and C.L.). Enrollment information is sent electronically to the NSC approximately every 30 days or once a month.

Students can access the National Student Clearinghouse directly from Zagweb. This free service allows students to perform a variety of enrollment verification activities online, including:
After logging in to the secure area of Zagweb, click on "National Student Clearinghouse" from the "Student" card. You can access Zagweb using your Social Security number or Gonzaga ID number and PIN. If you have any trouble accessing Zagweb, please contact the Registrar's Office at (509) 313-6592.
Students can also request an enrollment or degree verification by completing the Enrollment Verification Request Form from the Forms webpage and submitting it to the Registrar's Office in person, by mail, or by fax (see the form for contact information). This form should be used when additional documentation is required to verify a student's enrollment or degree status.
Gonzaga University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to act as its agent for verification of degrees and enrollment status. Please visit the NSC at http://www.degreeverify.org for verification services available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The results provided by the NSC are based on official Gonzaga University student records.
To comply with the Family Educational Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA), the information provided by Gonzaga University through these verification services is limited to information designated as Directory Information. Requests for information beyond Directory Information must be accompanied by a signed and dated authorization from the owner of the student record specifying the type of information to be released and the person or organization authorized to receive it. For more information about FERPA and the rights afforded to students, please refer to the FERPA page on our website.
A student has the right to choose to restrict the release of their Directory Information. When such a restriction is in place, the requesting party will be informed that no information is available for that student.
