Upper Division Room Selection

Housing applications for the 2026-2027 Academic year open October 1 in ZagLiving.

Housing Selection for Upper Division Students for the 2026-2027 Academic Year will take place in November 2025.

How do I know if I am considered Upper Division?

Housing & Residence Life does not use your academic standing to determine your classification for housing.

Upper Division students:

• Have already turned 21 or will by Nov 1st of the year they are applying for.

• Lived on campus at GU for 4 semesters (or on campus at another institution before transferring to Gonzaga) 
  Students who live away from the main Spokane campus for a semester or longer, due to Study Abroad, leave of absence, etc, are not guaranteed additional semesters of on-campus living as part of their residency requirement. 

Timeslots are randomly assigned to students that have submitted their applications by the due date, students that submit applications after the deadline will have later timeslots.

Upper Division Timeline

• October 1- Housing Application Open
• October 31- Housing Application Due
• November 20- Housing Selection
  A waitlist will open once all spaces have been filled.
