Yes. Gonzaga has a two year live on requirement. Students can fill out a Housing Exemption Form (via ZagLiving). Students will be approved if they are requesting an exemption for one of the five following reasons: Living with immediate family, Married, Seminary, Financial (confirmation from Financial Aid), Medical (confirmation from Disability Access Office).
Students that completed the Housing application by May 1st will have the opportunity to select the building and room they'll live in the last week of May. If you complete the application after May 1 or if you choose not to participate in selection the Housing & Residence Life Office will assign you to a space based on the profile you completed on the Housing Application and building vacancies.
No. You are more than welcome to select without previously deciding on a roommate. During selection you'll have the opportunity to see who has selected spaces already and how they match based on the profile portion of the application. You may also select a space that is completely vacant, however it is more than likely that someone will select the second bed in the space.
Yes. Gonzaga does not look at class standing, so if you are under 21 you will still be under the two year on campus residency requirement.
Housing Selection times are determined by the date you sign the terms and conditions of your Housing Application.
We do NOT take into consideration the date you pay your Confirmation or Housing Deposit.
Starting May 6th, you can access the Roommate portion of the Housing Application. Roommates can be found three ways. 1. Suggest Roommates: Let Housing & Residence Life suggest roommates for you based on your profile questions. 2. Search for Roommate by Profiles: Filter matches by specific responses to profile questions and 3. Search for Roommate by Details: If you already know your intended roommate, search by that persons name and form a roommate group with them.
Yes, submitting an LLC application does serve as a commitment to live in the community if accepted.
Yes, Honors students will only be shown spaces in the Honors Community unless they opt out on the Housing Application.
