About the Morris Undergraduate Research Fellowship

Established in 2017 through a generous gift from Scott ('80, '89) and Liz (Tomich, '80) Morris, the Morris Undergraduate Research Fellowships support student-faculty research teams in the College of Arts & Sciences. Priority is given to projects in the humanities, social sciences, and interdisciplinary projects including at least one of these areas.

These fellowships fund original, student-initiated research conducted during the summer under the mentorship of a College of Arts & Sciences faculty member. Both the student and the faculty mentor receive a stipend. View eligibility criteria on our Program Details webpage.
