Kaltura provides Gonzaga faculty, students, and staff with options to create video and audio content in a variety of Canvas tools such as discussions, blogs, assignments, journals, and other tools. It lets you create presentations as well as upload existing and new media. The My Media page serves as a private video gallery where you may upload, record, and manage your media content before publishing it.
You may access Kaltura Media through any content editor window in Canvas courses. When creating a new piece, you will be using the Kaltura Capture application for desktop. Once it is downloaded you won’t need to do it again.
