Summer Financial Aid Information
  • Part time enrollment (6 credits) is required for Federal loan eligibility. Only students who have not borrowed their annual maximum loans during the Fall 2012/Spring 2013 are eligible. You must be currently enrolled for summer session for your application to be considered for financial aid.
  • Students advancing a grade level (Freshman to Sophomore or Sophomore to Junior) may have additional loan eligibility.
  • First time borrowers of a Federal Direct Loan must complete a Master Promissory Note and Loan Entrance Counseling at www.studentloans.gov.
  • Enrollment is not required for work eligibility.
  • The Pell grant may be available to students who are Pell eligible, but did not receive their full annual amount in the fall and spring semester. Some undergraduate students might be eligible for a Pell grant at less than half-time status.
  • Gonzaga Grants and scholarships are not available in the summer terms.

You will be notified of your summer aid eligibility at your Zagmail address. Aid eligibility may depend on the specific number of credits you’re enrolled in. The Financial Aid office will verify your enrollment around the start of the summer sessions and notify you of any changes.
