Jundt Art Museum

The Jundt Art Museum

Gonzaga's robust collection includes works by old masters (Dürer, Rembrandt, Goya, and Delacroix) as well as modern masters (Rodin, Picasso, Chihuly, and Warhol). Because of limited exhibition space, works from the collection are not always on display.

Mission Statement
The Jundt Art Museum collects, conserves, exhibits, and interprets original works of art in support of teaching, research, and service in the Jesuit and humanistic tradition at Gonzaga University and for the community of the Inland Northwest.

Freedom: Permanent Collection on the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence-Arcade Galleries

In celebration and recognition of the 250th anniversary, on July 4, 2026, of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the museum has selected objects from its permanent collection where the individual artists connect images to the idea of “freedom,” and its common synonym “liberty.”
