Tucker IP Law Personal Injury and Patent Scholarship

Deadline: July 31st (Fall Semester) or November 30th (Spring Semester)

Tucker IP Law Personal Injury and Patent Scholarship is a bi-annual $500 scholarship for those students that been influenced by personal injury or patents.

Applicants must be either enrolled in an accredited law school or a current undergraduate student accepted into law school with the intention to pursue a career in either personal injury or patents.

The Tucker IP Law Personal Injury and Patent Scholarship is open to those students that have been influenced to pursue a personal injury or patent law career due to their own personal injury or patent experience.

Essay Topics

Please answer any one of the following essays. Your essay must be between 500 and 1500 words.

  1. How has a personal injury inspired you to pursue a career in personal injury law?
  2. How has a patent inspired you to pursue a career in patent law?

Applicant Requirements

  • Applicant must be either:
  1. A law student at an accredited law school; or
  2. An undergraduate student at an accredited undergraduate institution that is intending to attend law school during the next academic school year.
  • Applicant must submit an official copy of their transcript.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 3.0 GPA
