The transgender, nonbinary, two-spirit, genderqueer and gender diverse living experience helps further develop a residential climate that is positive, respectful, and inclusive for all residents. Gender-inclusive housing provides a safe affirming, and inclusive community living option for students of the following identities and lives experiences:
LGBQ+ Living
LGBQ+ students have the option to live in an environment that is open and affirming of their sexuality and/or use the Housing Portal to search for or be matched with roommates who share or affirm their sexuality.
LGBQ+ housing acknowledges the diverse needs of the student body and lives out the Gonzaga Jesuit mission of human dignity and Cura Personalis. The LGBQ+ living experience helps further develop a residential climate that is positive, respectful, and inclusive for all residents.
LGBQ+ housing provides an open, affirming, and inclusive community living option for students of the following identities and lived experiences:
Students who are lesbian, gay, bisexual or queer
Students who identify across a diverse sexuality spectrum
Students who are in the process of self-affirming their sexuality
Housing assignments for students are guided by the following values:
Affirmation of the student's sexuality.
Prioritized attention to the student's physical safety and emotional health.
