REGULAR CAMPUS PROGRAMMING

Monthly

Out to Lunch with Allies: a series hosted and presented by the Lincoln LGBTQ+ Resource Center staff. These discussions focus on building community over a mean, learning about an LGBTQ+ topic via a brief presentation, and discussing experiences, feelings, ideas, and opinions about that topic at tables of students, staff, and faculty. The Lincoln Center will provide food or bring your own!

Out at GU: informal lunch time social gathering of faculty and staff. A chance to collaborate, to workshop ideas, or to simply grow your community on campus. Reach out to LGBTQ@Gonzaga.Edu to have us add you to the Outlook calendar.

Fall

Lavender Mass, October: an annual celebration at Gonzaga University focused on affirming and supporting LGBTQ+ campus community members through faith. This religious gathering provides a space for people who may have felt they had to choose between their LGBTQ+ identity or their faith, as well as a space to heal from trauma, an introduction to Catholic mass, or an invitation to community. While it is a Catholic service, people of all faiths and spiritualties are invited to celebrate the Catholic and Jesuit values of Gonzaga University, while still recognizing the struggle to truly love one another without conditions.

Spring

Lavender Graduation, April: an annual graduation ceremony conducted each spring at Gonzaga University to honor LGBTQ+ students and acknowledge their accomplishments and contributions to campus. Lavender Graduation is an informal complement to an institution's formal commencement ceremony, rather than a replacement.
