Camp Items

Sleeping Bag (Down or synthetic, available to rent)

Sleeping Pad (Available to rent)

Mug designed for hot liquids

Two 1-liter water bottles

A full set of comfy clothes you can change into if you got sweaty or wet during the days activity


Footwear

Socks (Wool, or synthetic-good for hiking and also good for biking)

Shoes (that you can bike and hike in and use as camp shoes)

River Sandals (TEVAs, Chacos etc) or old tennis shoes - NOT flip flops, your river shoe must strap on to your feet!


Top Layers

Fleece Jacket or other warm jacket

T-shirts (avoid cotton)

Waterproof Jacket

Warm Hat

Swimsuit or shorts to wear in the water


Bottom Layers

Long Underwear/base layer

Warm Pants (sweats, jeans) to wear around camp

Active Shorts/Pants for biking and hiking

Swimsuit or shorts to wear in the water


Other things:

Flashlight/Headlamp

Camera (optional)

Sunglasses and Baseball hat (to protect eyes from sun)

Essential toiletries only

Toothbrush, toothpaste

Sunscreen

Menstrual supplies

Any medications you take

Contact solution, etc.

Small Towel (optional)

No cell phones!


Keep in mind while packing:

Please be aware that the weather may change all the time, we must be ready for both hot and cold weather.

Please don't bring a large wardrobe, instead think about items that could be useful for multiple purposes (e.g. a long sleeved shirt that keeps the sun off during the day and doubles as a layer to put on as the sun goes down). Pack only what is necessary for the trip, as space is limited.

There’s limited opportunity for personal washing (a jump in the river will be as close to a shower as we get) and there aren’t outlets so please leave behind:

Anything that needs to be charged/plugged in (hair dryer, electric body groomer, straightener, etc.)

Bath products like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.
