Influenza (Flu) Vaccine

Influenza (flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. The flu can cause mild to severe illness. The flu can also result in hospitalization or death. The viruses that cause the flu constantly change and the effectiveness of the flu vaccine decreases over time. That is why updating your flu vaccine every year is so important.

Students at Gonzaga University come together in residence halls, classrooms, and other spaces while on campus. The flu vaccine helps prevent the spread of influenza and helps keep you and those around you healthier. Health and Counseling Services (HCS) offers the flu vaccine each year beginning in the fall. We aim to vaccinate more students each year. Please join us in our efforts to keep our campus healthy.

Flu shots are $15 - option to pay with Bulldog bucks, credit/debit card, or student accounts. You can either come to one of our many clinics listed below, walk-in the student health clinic or schedule an appointment. If you wish to schedule an appointment for your flu vaccine this fall, please contact HCS at 509-313-4052, send us a secure message via your health portal or email us at studenthealth@gonzaga.edu.
