Postgraduate Service

Are you interested in pursuing a year or more of intentional service after graduating? Post-graduate service may be the route for you as a way to continue your learning, live out your values, explore new places, grow in a community of other volunteers, and utilize the skills and knowledge gained in your time at Gonzaga. Post-graduate service looks different for everyone and there are so many possible organization (both domestic and international) to partner with. CCE staff are here to support your discernment process and journey.

Post-Grad Service Fair

Please join the Center for Community Engagement and Center for Career and Professional Development for the annual Post-Grad Service Fair. All students are welcome to meet representatives from over 20 post-graduate service programs located from across the country and here is Spokane. Learn about what makes their program unique, cities where you can serve, and the type of work you can engage in.

Social Justice Missioning Ceremony

All graduating senior students who have committed to post-graduate service with an existing organization are invited to attend the annual Social Justice Missioning Ceremony with their family and friends. Hosted by the Office of Mission and Ministry and the Center for Community Engagement, the University community will honor the commitment that these students have made to being people with and for others.

The Krista Colleagues Grant at Gonzaga University

Each spring, five students from Gonzaga University and five students from Whitworth University who are planning to serve with an existing postgraduate service agency will be selected to receive a $1000 service leadership grantPlease visit the Krista Foundation website for additional information: kristaglobalcitizensgrant.org or the myGU post graduate service page
