Application Deadline

Eligibility

  • A master's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • A valid teaching or ESA certificate
  • Currently employed in a K-12 setting in WA State
  • A minimum of 3 years of K-12 educational experience

Application Requirements

You can start your application and save your information as you progress, but you will need to have all of the required documents in order to submit your application.

 

Recommendations

  • Two (2) letters of recommendations. One should be from your current supervisor and the other from a professional colleague. 

Transcripts

  • Official transcripts from the institution where you earned your bachelor's and master’s degree.

State Required Prerequisite Form

District Permission Form

  • Please submit this form getting permission from your district to complete your internship with them. You will be required to get a signature from a district representative.

Resume or CV

  • Copy of your resume or CV including leadership, volunteer, and technology opportunities.

Written Statement of Purpose

  • Write about why you would like to become a school administrator.
  • The statement should be approximately 400 words.

Copy of your Teaching or ESA certificate from Washington State

Copy of Abuse Course Completion

  • This is typically a certificate of completion of the annual Child Protection reporting requirements or a transcript indicating in an academic course you completed the content.
