Gonzaga's Office of Parent and Family Relations use Zoom, Gonzaga's video and web conferencing service, to host a "Zag Life 101" series of webinars. The webinars feature guests from various Gonzaga departments and offices, to give families a more personal and active overview of what life at Gonzaga looks like.

In 2014, Gonzaga University joined a team of universities and archaeologists from around the world to take part in a dig located around the Turkish city of Sinop, exploring the site of the Ancient Greek colony Sinop. Gonzaga's Dr. Andrew Goldman serves as Field Director for the Sinop Regional Archaeological Project and approached Gonzaga ITS earlier this year about a cloud-based data storage solution utilizing FileMaker Pro.

The Jundt Art Museum at Gonzaga University presented a solo exhibition of recent works by renowned international artist Makoto Fujimura, opening Sept. 7 and continuing through Jan. 4, 2020. Fujimura visited Gonzaga in early October for a special exhibition and presentation on "Leadership & Culture Care", hosted by Dr. Shann Ray Ferch of the School of Leadership Studies. Here, Dr. Ferch introduces the community to the unique, compelling work of Makoto Fujimura.
