About
Gonzaga’s Jesuit, Catholic, Humanistic education will challenge and inspire you.

The Undergraduate Research & Creative Activity Showcase (URCAS) gives Gonzaga students the opportunity to share their research and creative work with families and friends during Fall Family Weekend.
What began in 2004 as a research poster session through the Gonzaga Science Research Program (GSRP) has grown significantly over the years. Originally serving the Biology, Chemistry & Biochemistry, and Physics Departments, it became the Undergraduate Research Showcase in 2017 under the newly established Center for Undergraduate Research & Creative Inquiry (CURCI). Initially focused on the College of Arts & Sciences, the event expanded in 2021 to include all undergraduate researchers across the University.
The Showcase, held in the Hemmingson Ballroom, features nearly 100 students’ research, visual artistry, and creative achievements across multiple disciplines. View the 2025 URCAS Program.
The next Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity Showcase will be held on Friday, October 3, 2026 from 4 - 6 pm. Event information, including registration for presenters and programs from previous years, can be found on the URCAS myGU page.
