Workshops and Online Education

Over the course of the academic year, Gonzaga's Office of Sustainability will organize workshops to help out campus learn essential skills for using alternate forms of transit. Stay tuned for all the information about workshops here!

E-Bikes 101 – Coming Soon

Location: TBD

Wheel Sport Bicycles, a locally owned bike shop in Spokane, is bringing a few electric bicycles to campus to show them off to our community. Jon Boyer, a professional from Wheel Sport Bikes, will explain how e-bikes work, what advantages they offer relative to a normal bike, and the differences between a few types of e-bike. Attendees will also have the chance to take these bikes out for a test ride in a controlled environment!

Online Education

If you can't make it to a workshop in person, here's a few videos about the basics to get you started.

The Spokane Transit Authority has made videos for educating on how to plan a trip by bus, how to board and pay, and bus safety.

The League of American Cyclists has many videos that can help you understand how to ride safely, find the right bike and gear, and know your rights as a bicyclist. Find them all here!
