Student Leadership & Employment Opportunities

Student Employment

Our office wouldn’t be the same without our amazing student interns. We offer three different student staff positions based on the three pillars of our department. Student interns work with their respective supervisor to accomplish the learning outcomes related to their position. Programming Interns assist with creating and implementing weekly programs, Intercultural Development Interns assist with analytics and exploring best practices for social justice workshops, and Mentoring Interns organize and facilitate the BRIDGE Social Justice & Leadership Institute and First-Year Mentoring program.

Unity Alliance of Culture Clubs

The Unity Alliance of Cultural Clubs is a formal platform in which cultural clubs communicate with each other to create a stronger and more unified cultural presence on Gonzaga’s campus.  Currently, there are nine cultural clubs in the Unity Alliance:

  • Asian American Union (AAU)

  • Black Student Union (BSU)

  • Filipino American Student Union (FASU)

  • Hawai'i/Pacific Islanders Club (HPIC)

  • International Student Union (ISU)

  • Association of Latin American Students (ALAS)

  • Queer Student Union (QSU)

  • Jewish Bulldogs

  • Japanese Club

At their bi-monthly meetings, the student organizations in UACC have the opportunity to increase allyship and collaboration as well as receive support from the Gonzaga Student Body Association (GSBA), Center for Student Involvement (CSI), Student Affairs, and the department of Diversity, Inclusion, Community, & Equity (DICE). They discuss their clubs’ events and meetings throughout the year to garner support from the other clubs, and they are also regularly invited to share their input on diversity, equity, and inclusion matters related to Gonzaga’s campus climate.
