I run two businesses, Bridal Bliss a full service wedding and special event planning company and A List Events which is a corporate based event planning company. My goal is to alleviate the inevitable stress that comes with planning an event so my clients can have fun and enjoy every minute of their party, from planning to the big day. That is what makes my job so fulfilling. I take the time to get to know my clients well and take a personal interest in making sure their perfect event comes to life. I love my job.
A short description of your career path:
Being involved with the Hogan Business Plan Competition my senior year provided me with the opportunity to establish Bridal Bliss right out of college. Dr. Paul Buller was incredibly supportive as well as a few of my business professors. I strongly believe that I would not be where I am today without the encouragement of Dr. Buller, the business plan judges, and my professors. I keep in touch with several of them today.
What has been most valuable to you from your Gonzaga education?
I was fortunate in that I studied both Psychology and Business, both of which have helped me immensely in my business. My job is never the same and sometimes evolves from wedding planner to therapist to good friend.
How do you stay in touch with Gonzaga?
I have mentored a few GU interns over the years and try to attend a few game watches with the local alumni association. We also try to make it back once a year for a game in the McCarthy Center.
Is there anything else about your Gonzaga experience you would like to share?
Thinking back to my time at Gonzaga always makes me smile. I feel so blessed to have received a quality education, made wonderful lifelong friends, and been a part of a tradition. Gonzaga will always hold a special place in my heart.
