Favorite place in Spokane:
I love the stretch of the Centennial Trail that runs along the edge of campus toward downtown. On a warm fall day, that's a run that can't be beat!
My favorite college memory:
I had the opportunity to travel to the NCAA Tournament every March as a student in the Pep Band. I've seen some amazing games and have traveled across the country for the tournament. I was sitting courtside when Adam Morrison led GU to the Sweet 16, when Meech scored a winning basket at the final buzzer, and when Jeremy Pargo did a monstrous 360 degree-spinning dunk against North Carolina. I love Gonzaga basketball!
Advice for college-bound students:
Challenge yourself in your senior year curriculum: success in difficult coursework throughout high school will prepare you for the world of collegiate academia. When you get on campus, step outside of your comfort zone and meet as many people as you can. You'll build a terrific community of classmates and professors!
