Washington State Need Grant (WSNG)
The Washington State Need Grant is a grant funded by Washington
State. To be eligible, the student must demonstrate financial need;
be a resident of the State of Washington; and, if a dependent
student, have parents who are Washington residents; be enrolled
half-time or greater; be an undergraduate in an eligible
degree-seeking program; and have family income below a specified
criteria (set each year by the State). This grant is awarded based
on the filing of the Free Application for Financial Aid (FAFSA)
form.
The State of Washington continues to support higher education through a series of programs like the Washington State Need Grant. As with federal grants, the WSNG does not have to be repaid. Washington State Educational Opportunity Grant
This is a 2 year grant which is only available to new transfer
students who will have junior standing at the beginning of their
first semester at Gonzaga and who reside in specific Washington
counties as identified by the state of Washington.
