Student Media provides a number of publications that feature student work. All publications are written, designed and staffed by students under the guidance of a faculty or staff adviser. Student Media hires close to 100 students during the school year to produce The Gonzaga Bulletin Newspaper, Spires Yearbook, Charter - journal of scholarship and opinion, Our Voices - journal of diversity, equity and social justice and Reflection - journal of poetry, prose, fiction and visual arts. Student Media also employs student photographers, graphic designers and advertising sales executives. All publications are support areas are staffed and led by students.
Mission
The mission of Student Media is to provide an enriched co-curricular educational experience for Gonzaga students through intellectual and creative expression, the development of specialized competencies and the practice of leadership skills in a safe and welcoming environment. Student Media is dedicated to the values of equity, inclusion and social justice in its training and mentoring of students and in its media products. Student Media is committed to responsible stewardship of resources.
