Dr. Kristen Arnold is an Assistant Professor in the Department of School Psychology. She has extensive experience leading and teaching in special and inclusive education programs at the K-12 level. Her areas of expertise include ethics and equity in education, disability studies, and the implementation of the Council for Exceptional Children's high leverage practices in schools. She currently serves on state and national leadership teams that develop practice-based approaches to professional development, including the Center for Collaboration for Effective Educator Development, Accountability and Reform (CEEDAR). Dr. Arnold is also a strong advocate for her son with multiple disabilities and provides strategic local and national support in facilitating collaborative relationships between schools and families.
