Admissions Requirements

The following documents are required to gain admission to the MBA/AIE program.

  • Copy of Tribal Enrollment Verification Card (unless applicant is a non-native teaching at a Tribal College or working for a native-owned business.)
  • Completed online application
  • Two confidential letters of recommendation (recommendations are submitted through the online application portal)
  • One copy of official transcripts from each college and university attended (transcripts available via eScript-Safe, Parchment, or Clearing House can be sent to GSBetrans@gonzaga.edu)
  • Official GMAT or GRE score, taken no later than April 1st, 2020
  • Professional Resume
  • Three Essays:
  1. What matters most to you and why?
  2. How would an MBA in AIE degree benefit you?
  3. How would you impact your tribe or the Native American Community by completing the MBA in AIE program?

All application materials other than the GMAT or GRE are due no later than April 1st, 2020.

After being accepted, students are required to pay a $250 commitment fee to be reimbursed upon graduation

GMAT

  • The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a computer adaptive standardized exam used to measure verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills.
  • The GMAT is available year-round at test centers throughout the USA.
  • Call 1-800-717-GMAT to verify the test center nearest to you, or visit www.mba.com to register online.     
  • POWERPREP is free software containing practice questions and two timed computer adaptive tests. It is available at www.mba.com.

GRE

  • The Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) revised General Test is a computer-based exam used to measure verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills.
  • The GRE is available year-round at testing centers throughout the USA.
  • Visit www.ets.org/gre to register online.
  • POWERPREP II, Version 2.1 is free software containing sample questions and two timed computer tests. It is available at www.ets.org/gre.
