About

Downtown Spokane

The Gonzaga University Urban Arts Center (GUUAC) is located in a historic building in downtown Spokane. It is approximately 4,700 square feet of space designed to be a cross-disciplinary, flexible-use arts hub. The GUUAC is intended to bring together the local Spokane community, local artists and performers, GU students, faculty, and staff through art exhibits, gallery talks, and First Friday events. It regularly provides downtown gallery space for both GU and local artists and regularly features shows curated by GU art faculty, students, and guest curators based in the Spokane area. It also serves as a downtown performance space for the University’s theatre and dance programs.
