Work study is a federally or state-funded program offered to students demonstrating financial need. Financial need is determined upon completion of the FAFSA, and eligibility for the program can change from year to year.
Although work study may be a part of your financial aid offer, it is not a guarantee of work. Funding is awarded on a first come, first served basis after review of your FAFSA information. Earning potential is variable and the funds are not automatically applied to your bill. Many students utilize this type of award to assist with their tuition and fees or additional college expenses such as books or personal expenses while at school.
If you are unsure of your eligibility for work study or job opportunities outside of the work study program, please contact our office.
