Tuition and Financial Aid

Investing in your graduate degree is a significant step and we are committed to helping you explore every funding option available. From federal financial aid and program scholarships, to employer tuition assistance, there are many ways to make paying for your education manageable.

Tuition

Tuition varies by program. Please locate your graduate program using our program search, then head to your program’s Tuition & Financial Aid page to view specific per-credit tuition costs and program-specific scholarships.

Please note: Your Cost of Attendance (COA) represents an estimated total budget for financial aid purposes, combining direct costs (billed directly by Gonzaga, such as tuition and fees) with indirect costs (estimated personal living expenses like housing, food, books, and transportation). If you are an online student or living off-campus, your actual out-of-pocket costs will primarily consist of your program’s direct tuition and fees. 

Financial Aid

  • Eligible students can receive up to $20,500 in Direct Unsubsidized federal student loans, per academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer), regardless of income level.
  • Students must be admitted as a matriculated student in a graduate program to receive federal financial aid.

Scholarships

  • Upon submitting a graduate program application, applicants may be eligible for a competitive, merit-based, program scholarship as part of the admissions process.
  • Automatic Review: All incoming students are automatically considered for scholarship awards based on their academic profile.
  • No Extra Paperwork: No separate scholarship application is required.
  • Instant Notifications: Scholarship awards are determined and presented right alongside your admission decision.

Employer Tuition Reimbursements

Many employers offer tuition reimbursement or educational assistance benefits. We encourage you to check with your Human Resources or benefits department to see what funding may be available to you.

Graduate Work Opportunities

Graduate students can explore several options to earn income while studying at Gonzaga:

  • Graduate Assistantships: Assistantship positions are competitive and limited. Enrolled students should connect with their faculty advisor to discuss potential opportunities within their specific program.
  • University-Wide Jobs: Enrolled students can search and apply for general campus employment opportunities across Gonzaga departments via ZagsIgnite.

Interest-Free Payment Plans

Students can work with the Student Accounts office to set up an interest-free payment plan for your tuition each semester.

  • In the Fall and Spring semesters, payments are split across 4 months.
  • In the Summer semester, payments are split across 3 months.
