Gonzaga in Montana (Summer 2026)

This three weeks immersive outdoor learning program offers a unique chance to experience the iconic Glacier National Park and nearby areas. From a historic facility nestled on the shore of Flathead Lake, we will embark on daily learning adventures to explore literary, social, cultural, and historical aspects of the regions. Along this intellectual journey, people from diverse backgrounds will join you in sharing perspectives on how a deep appreciation of literature, writing, and place can make for a better life.

Gonzaga in the Wilderness (Rotational Program, not offered in 2026)

During this three week program, students have the opportunity to explore the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest through science and naturalist/eco-critical writing. This field-based program follows the salmon, tracking this icon of the northwest from glacial mountain streams to the ocean. The program includes co-curricular writing, focusing on marine biology and regional biodiversity along with reading and writing attention to nature, place, and relationships in this region.
