All new CHS instructors are required to attend a new instructor orientation prior to teaching a CHS course. The purpose of the orientation is to connect CHS instructors with their assigned Gonzaga faculty mentors for course-specific training in course philosophy, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment, while also learning more about CHS processes and timelines. A sample agenda is included below:
1. Welcome
2. CHS Program Overview
3. NACEP Standards
4. Mentor/Mentee Relationship
3. CHS Instructor Handbook Review
4. Initial Course Training with CHS Mentors
