Academic Excellence Faculty Awards

Faculty awards are granted through an open nomination process and thoughtful review by the peers serving on the Faculty Award Committee.

Academic Citizenship Awards

Presidential award to recognize the Faculty Handbook Committee.

Community Engaged Learning Award

Recognizes exemplary service in any dimension of university citizenship. This award is presented by the Center for Community Engagement.

Recognition of Emeritus and Retiring Faculty

Emeritus Faculty

President McCulloh conferred the rank of Emeritus on five faculty who have rendered “generous and distinguished service” to their colleagues, students, the College/School, the University, and their broader professional community.

• Fr. Robert Lyons, S.J., Associate Professor Emeritus, served the Communication Studies and Integrative Media departments for over four decades
• Mary Pat Treuthart, Professor Emerita, served Gonzaga School of Law for 35 years
• Randall Bennett, Professor Emeritus, served Gonzaga School of Business for more than 36 years
• Pat Ferro, Professor Emeritus, served the School of Engineering & applied Science, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering for 15 years
