Membership

Membership periods -

Fall semester is from late August to mid January

Spring semester is from mid January to mid May

Summer semester is from mid May to late August


Proper Identification for all members -

All Undergraduate (full-time, part-time), Graduate and Law School students and all faculty, staff, employee or Law, Graduate student spouse individuals must have their valid GU Identification card to gain access to the Rudolf Fitness Center. Individuals will be asked to refrain from using the Rudolf Fitness Center until they can produce their proper valid GU Identification card. 


Faculty, staff and full-time employee memberships -

Faculty, staff and full-time employees of Gonzaga University are already eligible members of the Rudolf Fitness Center with their current GU Identification card. 


Full-time Undergraduate student memberships -

Full-time Undergraduate students pay required student fitness fee of $95.00 per fall/spring semester in their tuition to automatically become members of the Rudolf Fitness Center.


Part-time Undergraduate student memberships -

Part-time Undergraduate students must pay an optional membership fee of $150 per fall/spring semester to use the Rudolf Fitness Center.


Membership process -

Part-time Undergraduate students must go to College Hall Room 24 (Student Accounts) and pay the full fee with either check or cash; debit or credit cards are not accepted.


Law or Graduate student memberships -

Graduate and Law School student governing bodies opted for the optional membership fee of $150 per fall/spring semester to use the Rudolf Fitness Center.


Membership process -

Graduate or Law School students must go to College Hall Room 24 (Student Accounts) and pay the full fee with either check or cash; debit or credit cards are not accepted.


Alumni memberships -

The Rudolf Fitness Center is primarily for Gonzaga students, faculty, staff, employees and their families.  With an average of 5700 users per week and maximization of the facility and its equipment, there are no outside memberships available.


Spouse/Registered Domestic Partner memberships -

Memberships can only be purchased by current Rudolf Fitness Center members.  These are defined as legal spouses of Washington State and registered domestic partners.  Proof of partnership may be submitted to Human Resources.            


Membership process -

(New) All Faculty, Staff, Employee or Law, Graduate, Undergraduate Student spouses/registered domestic partners must initially fill out a membership packet(follow link or pick one up at the Fitness Center).  Complete the packet and bring it to the Rudolf Fitness Center.  After approval from the Rudolf Fitness Center Assistant Directors/Director pay the full fee of $150 per fall/spring semester with either check or cash; debit or credit cards are not accepted at the Rudolf Fitness Center.  Then they must go to College Hall Room 24 (Student Accounts) to get their picture for their Fitness Center only GU Identification card.


(Renewal) All Faculty, Staff, Employee or Law, Graduate, Undergraduate Student spouses must fill out a renewal membership form, (follow link or pick one up at the Fitness Center)  Complete the form and bring it to the Rudolf Fitness Center.  After approval from the Rudolf Fitness Center Assistant Directors/Directors pay the full fee of $150 per fall/spring semester with either check or cash; debit or credit cards are not accepted.


Family memberships -

Family memberships can only be purchased by current Rudolf Fitness Center members. 

 

Please note the Rudolf Fitness Center is primarily for Gonzaga students, faculty, and staff; family members over the age of 18 are not eligible to be included in the family membership of the Rudolf Fitness Center.  Dependants between the ages of 16-18 can join under the family membership; use the cardiovascular and weight training equipment, but must be accompanied by their parent at all times in the Rudolf Fitness Center only during weekend hours.  Children may use the pool or field house only during weekend hours and are not allowed to be left unattended in the Rudolf Fitness Center.  Family memberships are designed for a spouse/registered domestic partner and up to three children under the age of 18.

All Faculty, Staff, Employee or Law, Graduate, Undergraduate Student spouses/registered domestic partners must initially fill out a membership packet (follow link or pick one up at the Fitness Center).  Complete the packet and bring it to the Rudolf Fitness Center.  After approval from the Rudolf Fitness Center Assistant Directors/Director pay the full fee of $200 per fall/spring semester with either check or cash; debit or credit cards are not accepted at the Rudolf Fitness Center.  Then they must go to College Hall/Administration Building Room 24 (Student Accounts) to get spouse’s/registered domestic partner's picture for their Fitness Center only GU Identification card.  Children do not receive a Fitness Center only card since they must be accompanied any time they are in the Rudolf Fitness Center.

All Undergraduate (full-time, part-time and who are enrolled in the upcoming fall semester), Graduate and Law School students and all faculty, staff, employee or Law, Graduate student spouses can pay the summer memberships cost of $30.00.  All Undergraduate (full-time and part-time and who are enrolled in the upcoming fall semester), Graduate and Law School students and all faculty, staff, employee or Law, Graduate student families can pay the summer membership cost of $40.00.


Membership process -

All Faculty, Staff, Employee or Law, Graduate, Undergraduate Student spouses and families must follow the same process as listed in the spouse and family membership sections.


Pro-rated membership fees -

After the eighth week of the Undergraduate Academic semester the all membership fees are pro-rated 1/2 of their original amount.  Please call 313-3974 for more information and dates.


Graduating student memberships -

All graduated Undergraduate, Graduate and Law School students are eligible for a one semester extension immediately following their graduation.  The membership fees are either $150 per fall/spring semester or $30.00 for summer semester to use the Rudolf Fitness Center.

All graduated Undergraduate, Graduate and Law School students must go to College Hall Room 24 (Student Accounts) and pay the full fee with either check or cash; debit or credit cards are not accepted.


Daily Guest pass -

The Rudolf Fitness Center is primarily for Gonzaga students, faculty, staff, employees and their family members.  Guest passes can be purchased by a current Rudolf Fitness Center member for $10.00 cash/check only at the front desk.
