“The reality was that no one knew what they were doing, or where they were going just yet. That was why we were at Gonzaga; to find some meaningful direction to go in with the talents that we were given and with the passions that are already within us. This was one of the first things that I learned at Gonzaga. Throughout Orientation, I got the chance to talk to a plethora of people, many of which with undecided majors or unknown visions for the future. I realized that I didn’t have to have it all figured out either. We were here, and as long as we applied and invested ourselves in what this campus had to offer, our futures would unravel before us. The environment of this campus reinforced the idea that everyone is here to help you succeed, and as long as you work hard at your classes and take advantage of your resources, you will begin to see the rest of your life taking shape.”

"Gonzaga has welcomed me with these giant open arms. As a first generation student, I couldn’t be more grateful. I have not had the experience yet of meeting somebody that goes to this school that is rude, or won’t try and help when I ask them for anything. I thought it was going to be a really small school in a small city and everyone that went here was going to be very reserved and keep to themselves. Time and time again my friends come to my aid and helped me when I feel down. I can’t go a single day at this school without a huge smile on my face because I know when I get back to my room, boots full of snow, I’m going to have a laugh."
