Care Giver - Part-Time Afternoon Nanny for 2 Awesome Kids
Posted Date: 9/1/2015
Description: Here is the gig – you have to love kids, be active, understand that healthy eating includes fruit and vegetables, and be a master negotiator (because the kids are!). I have two totally opposite but wonderful girls age 6 (wants to be a Rockstar) and age 3 (wants to be just like her sister). They attend pre-school/Kindergarten until 3:00pm every day that is less than a mile from our house, and they need to be picked-up (by you-in your safe car). They need to be fed a snack and taken to various activities and all around entertained until 5:30pm. The two of them are pretty easy – they love each other (most of the time), and they are generally happy. These darling sisters have two parents that live in two separate houses (about 1.5 miles apart). They are well adjusted to this arrangement and spend one weeknight at their Dad’s house every week. You need to be willing to get them to his house on those days, and manage some of the same tasks there as you do at this house. We like people that can communicate, are direct, and will always put these two little ones first, because that is what we do every day. I work from home, but can never find enough time for household management, and need someone that is willing to help when the kids are occupying themselves. Things like folding, dishwasher, getting dinner started, grocery shopping or just making sure the kids are picking up their own toys. We are fun. I am an easygoing, straight forward, understanding boss – so is their Dad. We need you to be all of those things too.

Care Giver - Part-time Nanny needed for 2 kids, and a potential fish on the South Hill
Posted Date: 8/11/2015
Description: Here is the gig (you have to love kids, be active, understand that healthy eating includes fruit and vegetables, and be a master negotiator (because the kids are!). I have two totally opposite but wonderful girls age 6 (wants to be a Rockstar) and age 3 (wants to be just like her sister, but also tell her sister exactly what to do). They attend pre-school/Kindergarten until 3:00pm every day that is less than a mile from our house, and they need to be picked-up (by you-in your car which has adequate seating for two kids and which you are willing to have carseats/booster seats, and with which you haven't gotten in any major accidents with). They need to be fed a snack and taken to various activities and all around entertained until 5:30pm. The two of them are pretty easy (they love each other (most of the time), and they are generally happy. These darling sisters have two parents that live in two separate houses (about 1.5 miles apart). They are well adjusted to this arrangement and spend one weeknight at their Dad's house every week. You need to be willing to get them to his house on those days, and manage some of the same tasks there as you do at this house. We like people that can communicate, are direct, and will always put these two little ones first, because that is what we do every day. I work from home, I am very good at my job, but can never find enough time for household management, and need someone that is willing to help when the kids are occupying themselves. Things like folding, dishwasher management, getting dinner started, grocery shopping or just making sure the kids are picking up their own toys would be of tremendous help. If you feel like you can only take care of kids and not do any household chores, I agree with you (wouldn't that be nice!!! But, unfortunately, that is not real life, and we need real life people  We are fun. I am an easygoing, straight forward, understanding boss (so is their Dad). We need you to be all of those things too. I will also occasionally ask for extra help or time, but I will always promise to give you the option and as much notice as possible (and pay you extra). I also have a wonderful mom that helps us out if I am traveling for work, which I do on occasion.
Qualifications: 2+ years experience caring for children M-F 2:50pm 5:30pm Willingness to work extra occasionally on school Curriculum Days or other days where school is not in session. Pay $10/hour. Paid weekly Must have car, driver's license, good driving record. Will pay reimbursement for mileage to offset gas. Don't answer this if you are into drugs, smoke, are an alcoholic or have a record. We aren't interested.
Pay Rate: $10/hr Hours: 15-20 Open Date: 8/31
Application Procedure: If you are still reading and think that you can take us on (plus the potential fish), please contact me with your resume and why you think this is a good job for you. Team players only please. Lisakjones123@gmail.com
