What is your favorite place on campus?

My favorite place on campus is down by Lake Arthur, because it is always a good place to sit, relax, and de-stress after a busy day.

What about your favorite place in Spokane?

My favorite place in Spokane is Atticus Coffee & Gifts in downtown Spokane.  I enjoy going there to study, get a cup of coffee and browse through all of the interesting trinkets they have.

Which class and/or professor have you enjoyed the most so far?

One of my favorite classes has been Foundations of American Education with John Traynor. Not only did he make the subject matter interesting, but he is such a down to earth professor and person, and it was very obvious that he cares a remarkable amount for his colleagues and students.

Give us a fun fact about you:

I can put my whole fist in my mouth!

What extra-curricular activity do you enjoy the most?

One of my favorite extra-curricular activities is Gonzaga University Specialized Recreation, or GUSR for short.  It is a volunteer program that focuses on "creating programs for children and adults with developmental disabilities and creating a place that fosters equality and inclusion."  Programs include Special Olympics, seasonal parties, fundraisers, a drama program and other special events. I enjoy working with and for individuals with exceptionalities and love the environment that GUSR offers, both to its participants and volunteers.

Even though you haven't left Gonzaga yet, what is your favorite memory so far?

My favorite memory at GU thus far has to be both participating in and leading the Freshman Retreat.  The retreat was a great way to meet other freshmen, form bonds and have a ton of fun.  As a leader the following year, I got to give back and contribute to a once in a lifetime experience for members of the freshmen class.
