The University Core, completed by all Gonzaga students regardless of major, is an academic program that embodies our Catholic, Jesuit, and humanistic heritage and mission. It grounds, extends, and enriches each student’s major area of study.
In the summer of 2016, Gonzaga introduced revisions to the university core curriculum. Beginning in the summer of 2016, all new entering undergraduate students, including freshmen and transfers, are completing the “University Core: 2016-17 and Beyond” curriculum. Students who entered prior to the summer of 2016 will continue in the “University Core: 2015-16 and Prior” curriculum.
