Dr. Elizabeth Gibson is Adjunct Faculty during the Fall A and Spring B sessions of Engineering Management. She brings 20 years of experience as an accomplished educator, scholar, and engineering manager to her courses at Gonzaga.
Her experience in the fields of computer chip manufacturing and the space industry brings a unique perspective to systems engineering. She incorporates that experience in cost/schedule integration and risk assessment to her courses and helps students develop flexible strategies for managing technology processes.

Dr. Gibson's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Engineering Technology Management from Portland State University, where her research focused on decision models for effective performance measurement. She holds an MSME from Colorado State University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
Dr. Gibson is a recognized authority in the field as a published author, a recent associate editor for an IEEE journal and as a certified Engineering Management Professional (CPEM). She has taught Engineering Technology Management, Project Management and Operations Management courses at Portland State University and served as a Scholar in Residence at the University of Colorado, Boulder responsible for the Project Management track courses in the Engineering Management Program.
