Canada (Segura) Basmeh

Canada has practiced public accounting since 2014 with Moss Adams LLP. She advises closely held companies and business owners with strategic tax planning, consulting, and succession planning services to clients in the food, agriculture, and construction industries.

Canada assists clients with federal and state tax compliance and planning services for individuals, estates, trusts, partnerships, and S corporations.

Canada graduated from Gonzaga University in 2014 with Master of Accountancy and in 2013 with Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Accounting and Economics. Canada is currently serving as a trustee of the WSCPA Foundation Board and co-chair of the local Yakima WSCPA chapter.

Kristina Boswell

Kristina Boswell graduated from Gonzaga in 2016 with a Bachelors in Business Administration majoring in Accounting and Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and in 2017 with a Masters in Accountancy. She has since worked at Moss Adams LLP as an Auditor, Tableau as a GL Accountant, and is currently at Infoblox as a Revenue Accounting Manager. A diehard Zag through and through! Living in Kirkland, WA and enjoying the view with her pug mix Sam!

Barret Cook

Barret is Seattle based Capital Markets and Accounting Advisory Services Manager at PwC who helps clients successfully navigate the accounting complexities of mergers and acquisitions as well as what he calls, "funky accounting issues". Barret has helped 60+ companies assess their increasingly complex accounting matters across a variety of topics and industries.

Tanner Varin
Tanner Varin

Tanner grew up working in construction through high school in order to pay for college. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting with a Minor in Construction Management from Washington State University. Subsequently, he interned in Seattle at a public firm, and returned to Gonzaga to complete his Masters of Science in Taxation. Tanner worked in public accounting in Southwest Washington for two years following graduation, and finally switched career paths to Contract Underwriting at Travelers Surety, where he has worked for the past three years.
