Kaltura - My Media

Kaltura is the video hosting platform that Gonzaga subscribes to - it is like Gonzaga's YouTube where you can create, store, and share videos without any advertisements. All Gonzaga faculty, students, and staff have a Kaltura account with unlimited storage space. The videos can be shared from Kaltura or through Canvas tools such as discussions, assignments, journals, and other tools. It lets you create presentations as well as upload existing and new media. The My Media page serves as a private video gallery where you may upload, record, and manage your media content before publishing it.

You may access Kaltura from https://mymedia.gonzaga.edu/ or through any content editor window in a Canvas course. You can upload a video recorded elsewhere or use the Kaltura Capture tool to record from your computer. You will need to download and install the Kaltura Capture app the first time it is used.
